It all started with a simple wish. “Oh how I wish we had flowers for every room in the house!” This lead to classes in the Leavenworth Master Gardner program, which helped us to learn more about growing flowers and vegetables in Leavenworth County. Four acres were purchased to have space for all those flowers. Then we looked around and decided that if we were going to grow flowers, why not grow a few potatoes and squash and onions and tomatoes. Of course we had to have a place to sell all these vegetables so our experience with Leavenworth Farmers Market began. During the cold, dark days of winter following our farming experience, the decision was made to purchase four more acres and to build our first hoop house. J&B Truck Farm was established!

It is our goal to produce the freshest cut flowers possible. The beauty of colors, fragrances, and forms of flowers give us great pleasure that we like to share with our customers. Selling fresh bouquets for our customers to use in their homes to give as a gift is exciting. Our flowers are not imported from large industrial flower farms or from other countries and sprayed with toxic chemicals to keep them cosmetically perfect for the 7 to 10 days shipment across many miles. Our flowers are fresh, long lasting and delivered to you with no toxic chemicals needed.

We know our customers want produce with exceptional flavor and culinary qualities to feed their family and guests. First and foremost what we eat must look good taste delicious, be really fresh, and free from toxic chemicals. We use only the highest quality vegetable seeds to grow top-quality produce. Our vegetables are harvested the day before market to ensure, fresh, good tasting, toxic chemical free produce.
